Chill out or give guiding a go
After lunch chill out on the bank or splash around in the crystal clear waters of the high country rivers. Once you’re feeling plenty full and very relaxed why not give guiding the raft yourself a go and enjoy the accomplishment of directing your crew safely down the small rapids.

Murray Plains Inflatable Kayaks
Add a little excitement to your excursion!  Explore the Murray Plains while splashing through the rapids in your own inflatable kayak!  Paddle one of these super-stable yet tiny boats alone or with a child or friend.  A guide will accompany your group but you’ll have control of your own course downstream!  No experience required.

This is a great little starter! Iif you have never experianced anytime on the river or if you are looking for that total relaxing experiance, this is the one for you.

The Lower Mitta Mitta River provides southern Australia’s best summer rafting. During summer, the Lower Mitta carries an enormous volume of water from Dartmouth Dam, creating a deep fast-flowing river with big waves similar to the large volume rivers of New Zealand or Canada.

Big water thrills
The day begins with a full safety and paddle briefing, and then it’s down to the river for the commencement of your roller coaster ride. The first section of the Mitta is descended in large self-emptying guided rafts, ensuring you get the most out of the morning’s furious whitewater. You’ll even have the opportunity to tackle the biggest of these rapids, the “Sharks Tooth”, at least twice!

Guide your own raft
After the morning’s adrenalin rush, the river calms a little, allowing you to guide your own raft, whilst under the close supervision of our experienced staff. Guiding your own raft is challenging but exhilarating, and is the best way to tackle these rapids, with waves up to 1m high.

Also another great little starter but with a bit of a thrill, will get you wanting more.
